Greens Harvesters which are mechanized and power-driven have made economically viable the production of leafy greens.  Micro or mini greens harvesters are essentially mini versions of 'combines'.  The material is cut at the base and progresses up or into the machine for processing or boxing.  For long rows using the handheld greens harvester is still somewhat labor intensive and cumbersome.

The greens harvester designed for use with the elec grow cart will build on the strengths of the existing devices and make the efficient harvesting of greens in longer seedbeds easier and faster.  The boxing of harvested material and storage on the cart surface is a major time and labor saving feature.  Available late 2019.
